Frosh kits await you along with lots of important and exciting information! Grab keys for your room if you opted to stay on residence for the week and drop off your stuff before getting your frosh week officially started!

Opening Ceremonies & Dean's Welcome 2:00 pm

Your new beginning starts here! You will be welcomed and introduced to Victoria College, signalling the start to events at Views from the Vic. You’ll hear speeches, meet Administration, and get a whole host of information about the upcoming week!

Dean’s Welcome – Come by for the launch of Vic’s new campaign! Hear from our Dean of Students Kelley Castle and President William Robins then join them afterwards for dinner in the quad.

Frosh Groups 9:30 am

To help make your Orientation week experience even better, during the Grand Meet and Greet on Monday, you’ll find yourselves in Frosh Groups! You’ll be introduced to a set of leaders and guided through various ice breakers and games with fellow frosh to get you all excited for the day!

But that’s not the last you’ll see of your frosh group! Every morning starting Tuesday you can reconnect with the leaders and frosh you met on Monday! You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, talk about events and get a brief summary of what to expect for the day!

Get to know Victoria with our yearly tradition of a series of hilarious skits and scenes all about university life and etiquette, written and performed for you by your fellow Vickies! A classic Orientation Week favourite, come to either (or both!) showings.

Excited for school but still a little confused about where things are located in and around U of T? Meet in the Quad to embark on a tour lead by our brilliant Leaders! Explore buildings across campus and check out the neighborhoods that surround it!

UTSU Clubs Day – See the myriad of clubs (over 200!) U of T has to offer and get involved outside of class-before classes! Campus tours will take you right to the Clubs Fair.

First year students will be welcomed by the President of Victoria College, the Dean of Students, and members of the Vic faculty and alumni at this historic event. This is a chance to see the various academic robes in all their glory!

You are encouraged to dress up in whatever you might be wearing
to traditionals - but t-shirts are also welcome.

A wonderful afternoon of getting to know previous Vic grads. The only thing better than this opportunity might be the desserts that will be served.

Traditional Ceremonies 7:00 pm

Become a part of the one of the oldest traditions at Victoria College, gaining perspective into what it is to be a Victoria student and cementing bonds of friendship and community. There are two ceremonies; one hosted by men and another hosted by women, feel free to go to whichever ceremony you feel comfortable attending.

Prep yourself for the Wacky Tacky Boat Cruise by walking down our wackier, tackier runway! Silly accessories are both welcome and provided, as well as a photo booth!

After strutting your stuff on the catwalk, take the party to the harbour front. Whether you’re on the Northern Spirit or the Kajama, get ready to dance your heart out whilst decked out in your tackiest attire. Bags and water bottles are NOT permitted, but bring your ticket, frosh ID, and tokens!

Kick back after a fun night out on the lake and get to know the other side of Vic campus. There will be frequent ghost tours (to learn about who still haunt Vic campus) departing from the Goldring Student Centre, a movie screening in the Quad, and games of ’Werewolf’ held in the Cat’s Eye.

Carnival, BBQ, Vic Clubs Fair 10:00 am

Start the last day of O-Week off with a bang by coming to the carnival! There will be free food, music and tons of carnival activities! Get your Vic swag on with face painting before the UTSU Tri-Campus Parade. The carnival is a great place to hang out with friends and
meet new ones, so come out and let your Vic pride flourish!

UTSU Parade 12:00 pm

One of the most famous Orientation events the parade marches 5000 students from all three U of T campuses through downtown Toronto, walking through the city’s biggest streets and cheering as loud as possible. And it all starts off with a cheer-off between colleges at Varsity Stadium. Be sure to wear your Vic t-shirt and cheering voices!

UTSU Concert 4:00 pm

As the parade comes to an end join in on the concert hosted by UTSU for some after-parade fun and mingling! There will be food vendors, give aways, raffles, games, carnival rides, and much more. Past artists include: Metric, Dragonette, and Tokyo Police Club!

Chill w/ VUSAC 4:00 pm

Hang out on the quad and cool off from the parade with your VUSAC Co-Presidents and representatives! A great way to chill, play some Frisbee and soccer, and grab some refreshments before Closing Ceremonies

One of the biggest orientation after-parties in Canada, there’s a free bussing service leaving from Hart House Circle all night! It’s free if you have a T-Card!
